hammersickle59
These powers seem well suited for people but not for items. I want to create some utility spells that temporarily modify items, so they are lighter or small etc.... How would you guys go about doing that? Transform is a bit expensive, unless thats considered cosmetic....but then i would have to make the duration....hmm....the heal back could be a comand word....maybe... Chris Goodwin
Re: Shrink/Growth/Density for items It depends. For Fantasy Hero, which is where I assume you're going, encumbrance is an issue, but not a huge major one. You could do it as sort of the opposite of a Naked Advantage: Naked Buy-off. What you'd be buying off would be the Mass and/or Real Weapon Limitations on items. Another option is to add some bonus STR or a STR Aid; the STR is Only Vs. Encumbrance Penalties. Maybe toss in a Concealment bonus to represent that it's hiding out somewhere.
ghost-angel
Re: Shrink/Growth/Density for items Since mass and volume are ultimately special effects, we'd need more to go on for the specific campaign at hand. Are you using the Mass Limitation?
hammersickle59
Re: Shrink/Growth/Density for items Yep. I'm using the Mass limitation on most items. Str Aid and concealment are both good ideas Thanks guys Dean
