Followup re: Block and Damage Shield

What if the character with the Damage Shield Advantaged attack has the Offensive Adder and attempts to punch another character who then successfully Blocks the punch? Is the Blocking character affected by the Offensive Damage Shield attack? Or is the result fully dependent on the SFX of the 'block' (hard vs. soft)?

The logic of the rule previously cited still applies: if contact occurs in the situation you describe, the Damage Shield affects the touched character.
