Vondy
Re: Trams In the OP's vein: Here is a link to a similar site on Hungarian Trams. It has some very detailed historical information, esp. in the "Lost Rails" section. It also has some information on other European city tram systems (like Vienna). It may be more useful to a writer of historical themed pulp fiction than a game-master, but you never know what may come in useful.
drunkonduty
Re: Trams Well that is so cool. I might have to wander over towards Randwick and check this out in person. BTW: nice to see another person in my locale who's into the pulp thing. cheers.
Curufea
Re: Trams I put "Australia" as my location rather than "Canberra" as it's likely unknown as a location to the less well informed - it not featuring in the news as often as Sydney
drunkonduty
Re: Trams Ya know, I only live a few hours away I've never been to Canberra. But I'm sure you hear that a lot. All my Canberran friends have. Just curious, but is there much in way of gamign to be had in our nation's captial? Let alone HERO?
Curufea
Re: Trams Hell of a lot of gaming (for its size) - although it's mostly systemless, LARP and freeform. Two cons per year - CanCon (mostly war/board/card) and Pheno (roleplaying). The Canberra Gaming Society is mostly war/board/card. http://www.cgs.asn.au/ I don't know about Hero as I've never played in a game run by someone I hadn't been friends with for decades. http://www.rpgmeetup.com/ Plus there's the ANURPs

Curufea
Re: Trams I go mostly for the stalls - it's the only way to get RPG stuff at reasonable prices (ie the sales and discount knock of some of the import costs and you can get books for under $80).
