New Sense Groups and Simulated Senses

Hi Steve,

 

If someone builds a new Sense as an independent sense belonging to none of the standard Sense Groups ("...in effect, it becomes a Sense Group of its own"), can he then build additional senses that belong to that Sense Group as Simulated Senses?

 

For instance, let's say I build a Spacetime Distortion Sense: Detect Physical Objects, Targeting, Ranged, 360 Degree, Discriminatory. Can I then build another sense (Detect Gravity Level, Simulated Sense: Spacetime Distortion Group)?

The GM can certainly establish his own Sense Groups if he wants to. For example, some Hero books talk about the possibility of establishing a Mystic Sense Group.
