I'm not a total expert in 6E yet, but I was just interested in why that route? Primarily because Healing or Aid wouldn't do what what I want to do, or wouldn't do so as efficiently. In particular, I dislike the Healing Power and wish it had never been part of Champions III. I especially don't care for the way it works in FREd and SHREd. But now that you mention it, maybe I could have used Aid.
