assault Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 A neat series called Underbelly: Razor has just started on TV in Australia, dealing with organised crime and the razor gang wars in Sydney in the 1920s. In theory episodes can be watched online here, although I don't know if it will work for people outside Oz. NSFW! (Language, nudity, drug use, violence...) In any case, it would be a good place to start for a bit of googling. The period clothing and sets are awesome. The characters are "colourful", to put it mildly.
