Tracking and Desolidification

Hello,

 

I wondered about the followign situation:

A character is desolidified, but uses "Force of Will" to walk (using running moevment) on the ground. While he certainly leaves no Scent trail, would he also stop leaving footsteps in fitting material*?

 

*one where he would leave a trail if he wasn't desolidified and of the same weight.

At the risk of sounding sarcastic in the absence of intonation (which isn't my intent ), of course he won't leave tracks. By definition a Desolidified person can't touch or affect solid matter, so he can't create impressions in the ground, snow, etc.
