Cramming and Weapon Familarity

Christopher

Question

I am a little irritated about the Formulation of Cramming:

The first sentence states that it works for Non-Combat Skills only.

Weapon Familarity is a Comabt Skill.

On 6E1 73 it then reads: "After studying the subject, the character acquires [...] or any 1-point Skill (such as a TF or WF) that he can use for the duration of the adventure."

Now I wonder if learning WF's via cramming generally allowed or forbidden?

First, with all due respect, I don’t care whether you’re irritated — or happy, or envious, or going berserk. If you want to ask a question, please just ask a question. Your attitude or emotional state aren’t relevant or helpful.

Second, a 1-point WF can be Crammed, as indicated on 6E1 73. The first sentence is a general description, not a rule; it doesn’t use “Combat Skill” as a term of art. However, other Combat Skills cannot, if for no other reason than almost none of them have any 1-point level of functionality.
