I think I somewhere read that there was a limit to how much an postive adjusment power (Aid, Absorption) can Aid it self or other positive adjustment powers. But when recently re-reading teh Adjustment Powers/Aid/Absoprtion I am not certain if there ever was such a rule. I wanted to know if something like this existed or if it was just my imagination/interpretation.
If my memory is right is was either that "a Power cannot be aided to more than twice it's Original (paid for) Character Points" or that "an Adjustment Powers maximum effect is based on the Dice/Effect bought, not the current total (aided or drained)".
At least the later idea seems to stand in the Rules: "Unless noted otherwise, characters cannot increase this maximum effect other than by buying more of the Power" - 6E1 136, Maximum Effect and later under Absoprtion "The maximum he can Absorb is two times the BODY he purchased" 6E1 165.
But like I said, I don't know if I interpret that right.
