Killing Telekinetik Attack

Christopher

Question

A player want to be able to deal Killing Damage with his Telekinesis-STR. Just buying an RKA, linked or Unified with Telekinesis is not an option (way to high cost or requires to stop using telekinesis [for say Grab and Hold] to use the Killing attack when putting both into a Multipower).

While in general Martial Arts with Killing Damage Element would work, what about a Power based solution similar to how this works with normal STR and HTH-Killing Attack?

Could he buy this:

1d6 HKA, Works with Telekinetik STR not Normal STR (-0) for 15 AP/15 Real Cost

to make his Telekinesis damage killing?

Or would he require something more like this:

1d6 HKA, Ranged (+1/2), Indirect (+1/4), works with Telekinetik STR not normal STR(-0); 26 AP/26 Real Cost

Or would he have to go the RKA, Unified way?

Re: Killing Telekinetik Attack

While it's certainly possible for a character to use Telekinetic STR to wield a melee weapon and have the STR add to damage in the usual way, there's no provision in the rules for Telekinetic STR to add to a character's natural HKA power or the like. If the GM wanted to allow something along those lines, it's up to him to devise a way to do it... and cope with the implications and consequences, if any. ;) Personally I'd simply make the character buy an RKA that's tied to the Telekinesis with Unified Power or via a Multipower, but reasonable GM's minds may differ. ;)
