Drain sequence understanding check

Christopher

Question

I am uncertain about how exaclty the Sequence for a Drain is, especially with a target that has all possible "Factors" of it.

I think that this is the sequence, but this earlier answer has a very different answer: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php/89615-Power-clarification-Drain-%28-STUN-and-CON-%29-PART-TWO

My sequence is:

0. being hit by the Drain.

1. Figure out the amount of Dice to Roll

2. apply Damage Negation

3. Roll what is left

4. apply Vulnerabilities

5. Apply Power Defense or whatever else protects here

6. Apply Damage Reduction

6b. use Penetratings minimum damage instead of what you have left, if higher

---here is where the rules on how Attack powers work stop, and the rules for adjustment powers start.

7. Write down what comes here as Drain effect (substract fading from here).

8. Summ up all Drain effects on each single game element; mind the maximum effect here. Do the same with Positive adjustment Powers. Figure out if it is a net gain or loss.

9. Apply halving for Defensive Game Elements, if applicable.

10. Figure out how much is lost/gained, depending on how many Active Points each Increment of the game Element costs and if you have adjusted enough to affect one increment.

Could you tell me if my Sequence is wrong - and if yes - what the real sequence is?
