Christopher
When a character had used the Doge Maneuver but is still being hit and Stunned by the attack, what happens to the +3 DCV of the Dodge? Does it still count, but is halved for the Stun? Is it "turned off" the same way Constant Powers and CSL do?
Steve Long
Re: Stunning and Dodge/CV Modifiers As noted on 6E2 104, a Stunned character’s DCV is instantly halved. If the character’s DCV when he’s Stunned was modified by a Combat Maneuver such as Dodge, that’s going to affect the end result of being halved, of course — a character with DCV 4 has it halved to 2, but if that same character were Dodging (giving him DCV 7), it’s halved to 4. There’s no provision in the rules stating that modifiers from Combat Maneuvers (or other sources besides non-Persistent Powers and any Skill Levels of any type) are “turned off” or cease to become effective at the end of the Segment in which the character’s Stunned. Therefore they remain in effect. The GM’s free to change this if he prefers, but keep in mind that such a change could have significant effects on combat.
