Matt the Bruins
So, I had some spare time and thought I'd adapt my cosmically-powered level PC to something approaching the standard level for export to other campaigns. I was surprisingly able to distill him to a 400-point build that preserved the core character concept, though I'd need special dispensation from the GM for the 500-point Multiforms. (There was just no way I could squeeze those under the point limit without falling short of concept, though I do think they're not that excessively powerful compared to some 400-point builds that I've seen.) Matt the Bruins
Re: Kurzhaan the Conqueror Thanks! Here's an option where he's just manifesting a few hints of werewolfy-ness. I'm getting into the redesign enough that I may go looking for games to play this version in instead of the higher-powered original. Opale
Re: Kurzhaan the Conqueror Btw you don't need a special dispensiation for the Multiform thingy, because of the VPP. Imho, The VPP could include the Multiform... Opale.
Matt the Bruins
Re: Kurzhaan the Conqueror That's how it's set up actually (with the VPP covering shapeshifting, spells, and enchanted weapons/objects), but exceeding your base character's points/the campaign standard in a Multiform is the kind of thing you'd need to run by the GM for permission. I did set up the VPP to include the penalty cost of having a more powerful Multiform like that - if the base character were 500 points rather than 400 the Multiform would only be 100 Active Points rather than 120. bneumeier
Re: Kurzhaan the Conqueror That's a very nice write-up. What program did you use to lay it out? It looks like the full-character writeups from the core rules.
Matt the Bruins
Re: Kurzhaan the Conqueror Adobe InDesign, which I'm pretty sure is what the designers use for laying out the official HERO products. (Though for some weird reason, only the years-outdated CS2 version will properly load my versions of the required fonts.)
Matt the Bruins
Re: Kurzhaan the Conqueror So, I recently redesigned the character, following the Black Fang method for werewolf-y defenses (Resistant Protection with the SFX of instant healing) rather than the one in the Hero Bestiary.
