Matt Holck
I don't know if there are any magic players here and magic uses a world based system as opposed to a character based system but here are my interpretations martial throw instant Tap creature opposing target creature(blocking or blocked by). The creature tapped lags. (does not untap during it's controllers next untap step) Draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep. martial block instant Untap target creature. It gains +0/3 and may block an additional creature until the end of turn Draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep. martial disarm instant Return all enchantments to owners hand and unattach all equipment on target opposed(blocking or blocked) creature. Draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep. Hawmaker sorcery Target creature gains +2/0 and laststrike (it does its damage after the combat phase at the end of combat) Draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep. martial dodge instant Romove Creature from combat. (A creature removed from combat does not deal or recieve combat damage. Creatures blocked by it are still blocked) Draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep. martial grab enchant creature flash When this resolves, draw a card. You may choose not to untap enchanted creature. When enchanted creature untaps, sacrifice martial grab. Enchanted Creature gains: +0/+2 and an opposing creature (a creature blocking or blocked by it) and Tap enchanted creature if it is not tapped. If enchanted creature is tapped, the creature it tapped does not untap during untap steps.
Ockham's Spoon
Re: I made some martial manuvers into magic cards As much as I love the power of an extra card draw, I think it is most appropriate only for the Block. Otherwise it is a well-conceived list. I have tried to blend Magic the Gathering in with Hero and while it can be done, you can't easily preserve the flavor of Magic in a Hero game because they work in fundamentally different ways. MTG is all about finding the killer combo, Hero is all about balance. They are both fun in their respective realms, and you can even role-play with MTG characters and creatures in Hero, but the feel will be that of a fantasy RPG, not the MTG card game. psyber624
Re: I made some martial manuvers into magic cards I have to agree with Ock, although I haven't played in a number of years I used to play all the time in tournaments and stuff. ANY card that allowed you to replace it when used was incredibly powerful and many of those cards would be easily abuseable in a variety of formats, especially as all of them have really low mana costs.
