Accurate Sprayfire indicates a "flat -1" OCV penalty when autofiring against multiple targets. Typically you would have a -1 per 2m covered (essentially -1 per target if bunched together). So -5 if firing 5 shots across 10m on all roles (must role once for each target). Does this mean he could be firing across 10m at 5 targets with only a -1 OCV instead of a -5?
