I played hero roll playing games many years ago, and more recently got interested in it again with City of Heroes and Champions on-line. Would eventually love to join a group in playing Champions RPG especially any groups in Southern California if I could eventually understand all the rules and find the time. In the meantime, I wanted to start this post to see what creative ideas on heroes we could come up with in putting together a team of superpowered heroes based on the West Coast especially in Southern California. This team would be called the California Guard and protect the Golden State from all threats especially those of the superhuman form. If you are interested in participating in this discussion, give a shout out with your hero and name along with the powers that they would have. Would love to see what ideas, we can come up with in this discussion and where the idea might actually go..... I will start.....my character is a mystical character with light based powers named Veritas. He can radiate light from his body to a blinding effect, shoot light energy blasts from his hands and eyes, heal, fly and completely devoid all light from his body causing him to become invisible. Being a mystical hero, he has received his powers from God and tries to uphold good, avoiding to kill anyone in the process.... Please share your ideas on your heroes, and thanks for participating in this topic, I always love to hear the creative ideas of others especially in regards to their own unique heroes, origins and powers.....
