Joe Walsh
Is Champions II the only place that the rules for using STR to stop an oncoming vehicle appear? I've been using that rule for years, but I can't recall seeing it anywhere else (unlike the rest of the vehicle impact rules on that page, which have been replicated in every edition from 4e on). Armitage
The Movement and Strength rules include stopping moving vehicles. 5e 238, 5eR 364, 6E2 25, CC 132. I don't see it in 4e. -2m/-1" per 5 STR each Phase with a successful Grab.
indy523
Remember if your goal is not to hurt the people inside then you have to allot for a controlled backwards slide that slows the car at a constant rate that does not damage it or what is inside. Catching a car and stopping it immediately would still generate 100 plus g forces even if only for an instance. This might take a dex roll or related skill roll to pull off.
