  1. Guilty Confession: At heart this is actually a 'how do I build this' question, but one with broader implications (I think). So, in the description for Adjustment Powers, the term "character" is used when referring to the target of such attacks. Does this mean inanimate objects are specifically inappropriate targets for Adjustment Powers (Drain a wall's DEF or Heal a broken vehicle's BODY, for example)?
  2. I don't know a point value for the limitation, but when you're ready to buy it off your GM will have to assign your character a trip to Dr. Ruth...
  3. I just think this really opens it up. I mean, is there then an attack power you couldn't represent with a weapon element and just keep stacking DCs?
  4. I'm uncomfortable with allowing Martial Maneuvers used with TK. I would rather see a 'TK tricks' MP or EC. Just my two cents.
  5. Does the default use of Area Effect attacks include altitude (or depth) charges? I've found in the rules that an attacker can target a hex or another character's DCV. Does there need to be a solid present for a hex to be targeted? Let's say Defender is being fired upon by Mechanon who is using his Explosive Projectiles. Early in the fight, Defender is on the ground and obviously Mechanon can target the hex in which Defender stands. Later in the fight, Defender is flying at some point over Mechanon's head. If there is nothing close by to Defender upon which an Explosive Projectile can be exploded, can Mechanon 'set' his Explosive Projectile to go off near Defender (like in his hex)? If a power advantage needs to be purchased for this effect, what should it add to the cost of the already steep AE advantage?
  6. Doom Patrol (DC) used to have a character (it's been a while since I read Doom Patrol -- don't remember her name) with multiple personalities. Each personality had its own set of powers and they all occupied the same body and the character had no control over personality changes. When trying to do a character like this in Champions, the obvious design solution for a character of this sort is Multiform with Accidental Change. The problem is that this character (and the character I want to build for my campaign) has a possibly uncountable number of personalities/powers -- at least dozens. Rather than compile a binder full of character sheets, I think this is doable with an (No Conscious Control) VPP. My question to the board is: what are your suggestions for handling Disadvantages and Limitations?
