At Kohl's (a department store that specializes in clothes), Levi 501s are listed at $64 for a pair regular price, but right now they're on sale for $50. http://www.kohls.com is their website. They always have sales, and if you're on their mailing list they send coupons every month for 20% off. So on sale for $50, -20% means you could get 'em for as low as $40. I suspect other department stores are pretty much the same.

The girl in black is Nancy Downs, the badgirl from The Craft.

The guy in the striped shirt (I think) is Zack from Saved by the Bell.

The guy with the shotgun is Chow Yun Fat from Hard Boiled.

    The pictures behind them are:

Tron, Max Headroom, Teen Wolf, Sledgehammer, Carmen Sandiego, McLeod (Highlander), KITT, Egon Spengler (Ghostbusters), Not sure, and Pizzazz from the Misfits (Jem & The Holograms)

EDIT: D'oh! I should've read the rest of the thread before posting...

Oh well, at least I got 'em all right. ;)

Boss: Apparently, Time-Warner is unaware that there is free porn on the internet.

Me: Wait, there's porn on the internet now? When did this happen?

Boss: I guess it's a new thing. Just started in the last week or so.

Me: Well, that would explain why T-W was unaware of it.

    :snicker:

OK, so I've been working out and watching what I eat since January. In the first 3 months or so, I lost nearly 20 pounds. That's good. Now, I seem to have gained much of that weight back.

But, my gut's not big and bulgy like it was, and I'm able to lift a lot more weight than I was when I started, so I'm thinking (hoping) that the weight I've gained is primarily muscle.

How's a bunneh tell if he's losing fat but gaining muscle (without buying a bunch of fancy equipment)?

Yeah, I always assumed Mr. Cook was Storn Cook. What with his power to make drawings come to life (and the fact that DT frequently hires him for commission work, so the "loyal employee" thing kind of works too).

The secret to a really good pizza is a really good bread. If the crust is bad, the pizza will be bad.

The second thing you need is a good sauce. You can have a good pizza without a great sauce, but it's not easy.

Most folks concentrate on the toppings. But really, you need a solid foundation before you can have a good pizza. If you've got a great bread and a good sauce, as long as the cheese hasn't been sitting in the bottom of the fridge for three months you'll have a good pizza. And honestly, toppings are a matter of taste. Some people want nothing but a big pile of meat. Some people are traditionalists -- pepperoni, sausage, maybe onions, olives, or green peppers, they're happy. I'm partial to "odd" toppings, myself. I often enjoy things like grilled chicken, broccolli, green chilis, shrimp, red peppers, that sort of thing.

I love pizza. Eat it all the time. I've eaten a lot of bad pizza in my life, and a lot of really good pizza too. So I'm a bit of a pizza snob. :)

There are days when I wish stupidity was painful. When someone says something stupid, you just want to slap them. You just want to hit them until they stop with the stupid. I just want to slap them until all the stupid gets knocked loose and falls out. Or maybe fit everyone with an electric collar that delivers a painful shock when they say (or type) something stupid. I don't think it would stop them from being stupid, but it might at least stop them from saying stupid things.

There should be some punishment for being stupid.
