  2. Updating Characters: REALLY?!?!?!?!?

    So working on a project to go through all my Hero books and enter the characters to 6th edition.  Every once in a while a bit of the character will make NO SENSE, this is a thread for us to get some joy from the weirdness of a by gone era

     

    So today I bring you one of the dumbest Susceptibilities to date.  MOTOR OIL 3d6 ... yes MOTOR OIL is the Achilles heal of Fire and Ice

  10. Shade of Black - miniature recommendations(?)

    Lady Crow is a woman who is transformed into a half crow/human hybrid via magic.  She can control other avians telepathically and has some light combat capabilities.  As for Talisman, she is a sorceress, and is a well known villain in the Champions universe.  She also appears in the Champions Online game.  Here's a couple of links to images of each:

     

     

    What are Lady Crow and Tailsman's powers? Some idea would help for suggestions.  Have you looked at Gamesworkshop? I would think they would have something in their Warhammer (fantasy) that would suit Black Paladin. (i'll lookwhen I get a chance)

    Hi folks:

     

    I'm currently running the Shades of Black adventure for my players, and they are going to be runnign through the first big fight at the end of Act One in our next session.  I'd like to have some nice figures (28mm scale) to use in the battle and am looking for some recommendations for the following characters.  I have a fairly large selection of HeroClix figures to draw from and lots of Reaper Metal and Bones figures that could be used in a pinch, but if anyone has any spot on recommendations for the following viallains, I'd love to see what others are using for:

     

    • Black Paladin
    • Talisman
    • Lady Crow
    • Griffin (currently considering using Reaper Bones Griffin for this guy even though it isn't really a biped miniature)
    • Hellhound
    • Black Paladin's Horse

    Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

    Mr. Long, Mr. Watts,

    Can we humbly request that the status on this be included in the weekly website update? Its kinda frustrating to hear of other books status in the front page and this one be in limbo.....

     

    I hate to ask, but yes, for those of us who pre-ordered the book, when can we expect it to come in, or can we at least get some info on what is holding things up so long?

  21. Nazi Ritual from 1938 spawning superpowers?

    Can someone remind me which book(s) offer details regarding the official CU timeline of events surrounding the Nazi ritual performed in 1938(?) that reintroduces large amounts of magic back into the world, thus making super-humans/-technology and magic all possible?

     

    If the books are for a specific edition of the Hero System, please indicate which version (5th, 6th, etc.).
