Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore
When I'm sick with a bad cold, like I am now, all I want to eat are Pop-Tarts, ice tea with ice and Splenda, and other comfort foods. I almost ate seven Pop-Tarts today. Dinner was a slice of double chocolate cake with lots of frosting and apple juice.

Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat
Go into the kitchen and try to invent new goodies.
NT: If you died and were allowed to come back for just two minutes to say what you needed to say to someone important in your life, what would be the gist of it ? Difficulty: No hostility, please.

Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore
I am exhausted and have no energy today so I ate four toasted Hot Fudge Sundae Pop-Tarts, plus some M&Ms, plus some fudge spread throughout the day. Today I can barely keep my eyes open.

Re: The cranky thread
Been to my Doctor today. Had rough blood test and now feel much woozier. There was also another test. I am also seeing my Stomach Dr. in a few weeks. The Doctor thinks maybe irritable bowel and my Mom has it and says it sounds like that to her. Maybe poor nutrition because I can't cook and have little appetite these days. Maybe my Acid Reflux. Maybe all of the above. I have five weeks to get better before the Con in Feb. Hope I do.

Re: The cranky thread
OddHat is unhappy, I'm still dizzy and sick, He's driving me to the Doctor and isn't happy about it. This day has gotten off to a rotten start.

Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread
I thought my life was going lousy until I went to Benihana tonight and saw a paralyzed man wheeled in by his Mother. He was about 20, maybe less. His Mom had to feed him and has to clean and dress him too. I thought I had problems ? Seeing that young man was a reality check I needed which put my problems into perspective really quick.
I think from now on before I post in the Cranky Thread, I'll count my blessings instead.

Welcome to the World of frozen or fresh fruits and veggies and lean, unprocessed meat. Your body will love it. Also, you may lose the weight that is preventing you from getting on the list for a transplant...

Re: The Non Sequitor Thread
What the blank am I doing up at 4:50 am when I went to sleep at 12:15-ish am ? I know: needed caffeine to stop RLS.

Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread
After two nights of little sleep, I slept the clock all the way around last night and now I feel like a Human Being again. Here's hoping good sleep continues !

Re: The cranky thread
Erratum:
It seems I was mistaken. The sign on my wall with the cute little girl on it actually reads:
"As much as I try to be an Easygoing, stretch your wings and fly type...
I just can't stop
trying to burst people into flames
with my mind....

Re: The cranky thread
It's fifteen minutes after midnight, but I can't go to bed until I get all of the part of my snack that went down the wrong way up or I'll wake OddHat up.
It's very painful and I'm exhausted, but I have to keep coughing as hard as I can until it's all up.

Re: The cranky thread
I have a little canvas on my wall with a little girl on it which says "As much as I'd like to be the Spread Your Wings and Fly Type, I just can't stop trying to set things on fire with my mind." My Life Coach says that's not funny. I didn't tell her I wasn't joking.

Re: The cranky thread
So, how are you all spending your Christmas Eve ?
We spent it cleaning cat poop, off the crate, the pad, the cat, the bathroom, the shower and ourselves. The laundry is yet to be done. It was Fear Diarrhea. The worst.
Merry Frickin' Christmas to us.
And to top it all off, there was nothing wrong with the cat.

Hmmmm. It seems there was Death Tribble's post on the next page, but my bowser wouldn't go there. The plot thickens.

Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore
Country Kettle Fudge from Long beach Island, NJ. It was devastated during Sandy and the businesses are asking us to please buy so they can get back on their feet. I'm no Surfer but this fudge was a big part of my childhood and they opened early December for Christmas so I have bought some for gifts.
The flavors include Toll House Cookie, Mint chocolate chip and Oreo cookie plus many others.

Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread
I was really down tonight, so OddHat proclaimed a Hanukah celebration and insisted I open my two gifts from him tonight. I now have a Wonder Woman snuggly and a pair of black diamond earrings. I love my snuggly and the earrings are beautiful. We needed this Hanukah celebration.

The Anti- Fundie people who would have provided honest sexual health counseling and answered girl's questions about sexuality honestly would not get their funding. Also there would be no new Role-Models who were not Right-Wing Conservative.
