This is a bad bout of depression I've been in for about two days. All I can do is hope it is better tomorrow. My Shrink put me on Xanax, which I am kicking. I think it might be the cause. Time for some CBT.

My Parents are the squarest Republicans on the Planet who do not believe in Role-Playing Games.

My Mother would definitely get Gadgeteer. She tries every cooking or cleaning gadget that comes out. Then she ends up discarding them. She would definitely be good at making her own.

My Dad would get Energy Blast, special effect: Explosion, with uncontrolled activation when enraged. When he got mad, things would blow up including people's heads.

So would anyone care to guess what their Parents' powers would be ?

I've gained back six pounds. All the clothes I had taken in and my new jeans don't fit anymore, including my favorite shorts. At least I'm too depressed to eat.

I decided I wanted a new pair of prescription eyeglasses today and despite the fact that most of Lenscrafters Patients have the same Health Insurance Company I do around here, they don't take it. So I must pay cash.

The eye exam cost $124. The glasses cost $304.95. That's $428.95. For a pair of sunglasses.

Oh, joy. Another morning sickness day and I've never been pregnant. Don't panic, I'm not pregnant now. This is my payment for all the sugar I ate over my vacation. I didn't have to, but I did. It didn't help that the museum right across the street had a Chocolate Fair the last night. At least I threw out half the fudge.

In celebration of the Olympics, I bought myself a half dozen British Scones from a restaurant called British and Chips. I also have jam and clotted cream to put on them. I am eating them one or two at a time and they are yummy !
