Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...
My friend Terror has played our game for over two years but still is loathe to admit she's a "gamer". She was telling the group how she turned down a date in order to make it to game sunday:
Jim: Did you tell him you were gaming?
Terror: No. I told him I had an NA meeting.
Denial, thou name is Geek!

Re: Clix mod challenge
I'd like to jump in with the requests here if the offer is still open. I've got two characters here' date=' and I'd be more than happy to send you some Geelong Cats "stuff" in exchange for some Clix.[/quote']I'll take a crack at them. I'm interested in the black suited version of Union Jack. It sounds a little like U.S.Agent's early 90's look. Crap character but I liked the costume.
I'm currently working on Typhoon and Quatra (4 of her) for Alywin13 and the Crowns of Krim for BryanB. I'm waiting for the Mod contest (sounds like a Lambretta race!) to post the Dr. D pics.

Re: Clix mod challenge
I got this mini in the mail today' date=' and this pic doesn't do it justice. hooligan x does great work. The mini truly portrays the character from the source pic. I'm impressed like you wouldn't believe. Rep was deserved and has been given.Rep the postal service while you're at it! I mailed the package 4pm Thursday!
Glad you liked it. I'm still planning on doing the other characters you posted.

Re: Some new minis (WotW: Champs and others)
By the way, have you tried making the puerco bibil? It's pretty easy if you follow the 10 min cooking school feature on the dvd. And so good you may shoot yourself.

Re: PC Origins Defining Your Campaign
In my current campaign (a restart of my BBB campaign of the early 90's set 50 years later) the supreme magus is an android built by an old PC. There are legacy heros decended from the original PCs as well. The first story hook involved a now infirm former PC who needed rescuing.
The current PCs' backstories have influenced the tone of the campaign. Lillith's ability to talk to ghosts and her dead sister's use of dreams to attack her have made me address metaphysical issues I wouldn't have thought of. The fact that only an immortal Golden Age PC was a "traditional" superhero made me decide that spandex and codenames were out of fashion and tightly regulated by the government. The dark tone of the campaign is a reflection of the original moral ambiguity of the PCs. It is interestiing that the PCs are now evolving into a more traditional superteam and trying to fight the darkness and corruption both (internal and external).

Hey, Proddy, did Comcast lose all your pictures? I can't get them to load. (Freekin' Comcast!)

Very nice. What did you use for Britannic?

Re: multipower question
My computer has been crashing everytime I get IMed while I'm on a website or listening to a CD. I just figured it out... my AOL is bought as Ultra slots!

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...
Last week's game:
Jim: Hello?
Me: Jim, It's Seth. No game today. I don't feel well.
Jim: What do you have? Are the lung gnomes back?
Me: Weeeeelllllll..... I went out to Rudy's with Terror and Carlito last night...
Jim: A-ha! It's the 12 ounce flu! Go to bed. Wuss.

Re: Sweet Mystery Of Life...Your Favret Damsel In Distress Moments...
My last "damsel" in distress was Mad Angus, a 70 STR immortal reformed supervillian who was developing into a love interest for our socially challenged necromancer/menalist. She convinced the others to attempt to prevent the government from deporting him to another dimention. Hillarity ensued, the "damsel" was saved, and Angus may pop the question next game.

Re: Question re: submitting characters for review
One of my players got me HD as a wedding gift. I tried to explain to my wife that HD would let me have more time to spend with her but she still didn't buy it.
She also frisked the guests for dice since we got married on our regular game night.

Re: Russian Superheroes - Ideas and Comment Needed for 'Russian Dawn' game openings
There's been mentions of Marvel's Russian teams and others' date=' but you could also create the Rocket Reds from DC Comics, most prevalent in the early Justice League, JLI series. And if you buy Heroclix, you probably have a metric butt-ton of them kickin' around the casa.

Re: HERO Organization Logos
Once again I misread the title of the thread and was dissapointed. I clicked on the thread to see Hero Organization Legos.

Re: Just one more modding question...
Unique Mage Knight figures don't have any stars on the base. Weak, Standard and Tough are denoted by one, two or three stars, respectively.Super-rares have a bronze-ish print.
Ultra-rares have a gold print.
Oooooooopps...
Thanks anyway.

So I bought some Mage Knight sorcery figs to cut up for my campaign (and scored a nice fig to mod into Tremblor!) but I have no idea which ones are the chase figs. I'd hate to find out I'd chopped up a $20 fig to make a one-shot villian. How can you tell?

Another rep party at LL's house!

Re: So you want Grond to throw a tank at your heroes eh?
That's a great find! Golden-agers should consider buying the box-o-nazis at the very least.

Re: Rock Tour Champions?
I always wished that on the final episode of M, S W we would find out that Jessica Fletcher was a serial killer who had been framing the innocent for years.
Hey, that's almost on topic! Have the sound guy or lighting tech be a serial killer! Your girl could find bodies in every city and slowly figure out who the killer is. Maybe he's a band member and the record execs are covering it up.

Re: Rock Tour Champions?
Did anyone ever notice Scooby-Doo and Murder, She Wrote are almost the same show?

Re: The Unusual Suspects
The Finn is an A.I. robot mage. Dr. Benedict is an occult investigator/golden-age Shazam brick. Lillith is a mentalist/necromancer. Cobalt (nee Wharf) is a cosmic crystal powered energy projector/cyborg assassin. Shellie-bear is a stripper/nun/ghost/ninja/janitor/dentist.
OK, so I made up Shellie-bear. My bad.

Re: This week on "Champions"...
Team F-up 8:00 or after the pizza gets here: With the New Challengers out of commision and their base in ruins, it's up to Team F-up to stop Vendetta before he kills again. Mad Angus proposes to Lillith and they are stalked by a photographer from SuperBeat. Captain Mysterion gathers the team to follow Mr. Mayhem's tracking device. Kid Mysterion skips school. The team finds Vendetta in a secret temple hidden in the Metropolitan Museum. And he's not alone! Next week: the return of Dr Mindkiller!
