Re: A Game Of Questions
Isn't it kinda late for jokes? Also, why can't I sleep?

Re: "Agents of ILM" campaign idea: Help me flesh it out?
Another part of the job for the Mythbusters is the simple fact that they bust MYTHS. They keep their fanbase anchored to real world reality by proving that all the nifty stuff you see in movies and on tv just can't happen.
For the most part, anyway.

Re: "Agents of ILM" campaign idea: Help me flesh it out?
I'm betting M5 is the public face of ILM's Weaponology Department.

Re: Do you use minis?
Hero-Clix and a Mondomap. I just got my 4'6"x8'6" map, they didn't have the 1.5" hex available anymore and we've used the Clix with 1" hex before so it's not a big deal.
I've been addicted to minis and maps since way back in the day. Being a visual person it definitely helps me get even more immersed.

Re: Query's Art & Stuff Thread
Very nicely done.
I can't give you rep just now. Gotta spread it around.

Re: Looking For "Bird Style" Martial Arts
After looking over some old character sheets it seems Swooping Eagle Kung Fu is a home grown style. It uses most of the Eagle Claw moves and adds a bit of leaping and two different kicks.
It's not my design but from what I recall it's intended to take down an opponent quickly and take advantage of the enemy while he's down on the ground.

Re: Odd Champions campaigns
"Again"?
I don't think I want to know.

Re: Looking For "Bird Style" Martial Arts
I don't have my copy of UMA handy but I believe there's a style called Swooping Eagle or something like that.

Re: Ape Name Needed
War, simple, to the point and a decent word play bit.
Mr. Ceaser Mangani... if I have to explain that one to you ... well you have no business using apes in your games
Zuvo Korak... Translated from the Mangani roughly "Strong Killer"
Ravolos
How much of a cyborg is he? I could probably do this all day

What would a flying turtle look like?
Also, what would be the airspeed of a flying turtle?

Re: Your first question
From what I can find it seems I was on the boards for 6 weeks before I asked a question about gaming. It was about how to handle accidentally having captured two PCs in a VIPER trap. I got some good suggestions and, IIRC, I used a bit from each suggestion in the following game sessions.

A blast from the past. Rose and Dark Malice."You must spread some reputation around before giving it to The Arc again."

Re: Fade into darkness
The closest thing I can think of would be a Vanishing Teleport.
I usually build it like this:
Vanishing Teleport: Teleportation 10" (20 Active Points); Must Pass Through Intervening Space (-1/4), Requires A Stealth Roll (Active Point penalty to Skill Roll is -1 per 20 Active Points; -1/4), Limited Power Power loses about a fourth of its effectiveness (Only when viewers he is aware of are not looking; -1/4)
Or y'know.... what Ghost Angel just said

Re: Online Steampulp Game
This sounds interesting, I just don't know if I'll have time.

Re: Champions Online & HeroClix ?
From what I recall, Jack is a fan of HeroClix. I would assume, and most certainly hope, that he would go the same route with his new IP. If they do make CO HeroClix I hope they make them available as a separate product line and not tied to special edition boxed sets.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game
I went after the TF on during the open Beta for I12. Like most Task Force missions it's pretty tough. I'd say it's probably close to impossible if you don't have the proper team build. Which makes the whole "unlockable costume sets" addition to the TF really, REALLY bad game design, as far as I'm concerned anyway. If doing the TF with one character unlocked the reward so I could use it on any character it might be worth the time sink and aggrivation. As it stands now I probably won't even bother with it unless I just REALLY want to play and have several hours to waste.

Re: There is some new art
No, see, what happened was.... Grond is ROFLing. He can't help but laugh at the weird combination of Seeker and Obsidian into one "hero".
