Re: I see dragons!!!! I have a few ideas that may be able to help. 1) As to how they are appearing. Well lately there has been a lot of controversy about cloning. Maybe some dragon-like creatures are a result of a cloning experiment gone wrong. (Stole that from a movie I saw). 2) As far as abilities. Well Most people who suddenly saw a dragon would so one of 2 things. Either run away in total over-whelming fear or would be so in awe that they would stop and stare. Sort of like a deer caught in headlights. I think the fire breathing is way to predicable. But what about some sort of psionics or mentalist abilities. For example the hero would have to roll and EGO check or be compelled to do the dragons bidding. Well those are just a few ideas I had. I hope they can help you.

Re: What's in a Name? Ok This is not quite the norm but i think it works. Jason Davies did not recall much of his life. He remebered waking up in the hospital with various tubes and monitors attached to him. He could not speak because of the breathing tube. He paged the nurse who came in and her eyes told the story. The nurse called the doctors in who called his only living realitive His sister. Once all the comotion had quited down. He asked his sister what had happened to him. It seemed that his very Exsistance was erased from most peoples memory. All she could recall was there was some kind of house fire that killed his family. The only reason she lived was because she was away at school. But even her story seemed alittle off. It was as if the whole thing was rehersed in some way. The doctors tried to keep Jason in the hospital as long as the could. But finally he broke the metal straps that held Him down. So Now his only mission in to find out who or what he is. Once he escaped he realized that something wasnt quite right about Him. It seemed as if the outside world was moving in slow motion. In Which he used to His advantage to steal what he needed. Now He goes from town to town just trying to find out who or what he is.. And Futhermore why He even Exists. Next name is...... Silver Tounge

Re: What's in a Name? Samantha Right .. was always a very hyperactive child. She loved anything to do with the outdoor and especially athletics. She always loved running and jumping and so on. As She grew her agility and speed never diminished. Her parents never knew what to think. They sent her to every specialist they could think of. No explaination could be given. Finally the gave up on trying to diagnose the problem. When she was 14 they took her to the local gym and she quickly took up boxing. The trainer was amazed at how fast she learned the basics. Swords have never worked very well against Tomcat fighter jets and this was no exception. The wind blew the dust of explosive powders of what was left of the warriors out to sea. Six months later a wealthy drug runner decided to try and use old diesel submarines to evade authorities. It worked well and in only weeks he convinced Gunrunners, slavers, even his drug competition to join his new navy. Stealth became irrelevant as the crime lords military power grew. The problem with pulling together many attack capable ships just makes them a big easy target and the stronger nations had stronger navel and Air forces than the crime lord. The high tech battle was quick and decisive. The crime lord’s navy now decorated the sea floor. It would then take some vaporous form and find another victim to possess and lead others again to the slaughter and feed again. The wizards apprentice deeply regretted being so weak as to let the demon free from the sealed chest. But the words in his head that told him to do open the box had just so compelling.... Re: What's in a Name? Sara Richardson had always loved birds ever since she was a very small child. She grew up in The northwest near the canadian border in Washington State. She was always surrounded by nature. Her Uncle had a cabin in the forrest , and every summer She and her family would go up there. This is where she felt more alive and more at home than anywhere else. As Time went on her love of wildlife and more specifically birds just grew. She graduated High School with a perfect 4.0 and got a full ride scholarship for Washington State University. Where of course she studied Ornithology. In her junior year she was approached by her biology teacher about going on a expedition to the rain forrest of the Amazon to study the habits of rare parrots in the wild. When she got there she was so appauled at all the poaching of these beautiful and very endangered animals. That She swore that she would never let it happen as long as she could prevent it. So She tried the more main stream route and Go to the press and what not. Since she didnt have alot of funding or money The People in charge just did not care. Frusterated one night and having alittle to much to drink she broke into one of the well-known poachers homes and just destroyed all Hhis records computers everything. Re: You can't possibly be!! Redo Ok Here is My idea. I am sorry but i dont know to much of the diffrence between all the variations of the Green Lantern. But Here it Goes. The Green Lantern is going aganist another villian but this villian has the ability to redirect the lanters powers back on Himself thereby intrapping him in His ring. Many years later a young man finds the rings and after studying it some how releases the Green Lantern back upon the world. Now after been trapped for many years the Lantern as well You could say not only a few issues but is also a little less sane that what he once was. So He trying to find his way back in a world that has seemingly forgot Him all together. He enrolls in a technical college and combined with his knowledge of the ring and not more complex electronics.. Begins to tackle the worlds Web Thieves and Identiy Stealers.

Re: A great way to make your players go, "Oh No"... I had a GM who loved to make up His own Creatures. Had all of Us saying Oh No..!!! Quite Loudly infact a few times. But I guess the things I Love doing is in the middle of a dungeon through a riddle on The wall so to speak. Really Makes the Characters use there Brains not all Brawn.
