Excellent idea! And if I may make a suggestion? You can do one of several things to keep them from sliding around:

    • Print them on static plastic sheeting (the stuff they make window decals from)
    • Print them on heavy card stock
    • Attach velcro to each side, and allow it to overhang so that the pieces can be velcroed in together
    • Attach a thin piece of rubber pad to the bottom (the stuff they put on the bottom of coasters

    Just a few ideas there.

I cant feel too well with that hand, tend to drop things bcs I cant tell how much pressure Im applying by feel alone, etc.

Dude that sucks! I suppose that is a dangerous combination though, artist and athlete. Especially an athlete that chases really hard wooden balls. Don't they wear some sort of protective gauntlet in Lacrosse? Sorry to hear about that.

Please do. I would really like to know about the character stats as well. Do you prefer the brief format or the larger versions, and what characters interest you and which don't.

Gold Rush Games is creating conversions for all three products, and is currently only converting SA to Hero, however there may be some conversion guidelines released that would allow anyone to convert however they wish in the future.

Are you asking to be able to convert in all directions or from one specifically to another, ie A!S to Hero?

I thrilled that the San Angelo setting is coming back and look forward to aquiring you hard work .

    Too cool for words E.

It matches the quality of SA. The only missing from the last draft that I played with was a map of China Town.

Cool! I got a plug! Thanks Mark for that vote of confidence! :D

    :)

That shouldn't be the case this time around. HeroDesigner was used to create all the characters, and thus everything should be correct. Enjoy!

PS: She's in Avantguard... look there.

    THANKS!

That's an incredibly cool site BTW. What are you using for the animations and such? I like the whole computer interface feel to it. Very well put together.

Spaces and illeagal characters will barf the tag, and I dont have anyway of modifying the export features of HD to strip them out. If HD had a Replace or URLEncode handle I could take care of it in the Template......but AFAIK it doesnt....

So, basically, I decided it was safer to not include it to protect the end users from themselves :D

Really?? Unfortunately, I am not at my HD computer to test this, but couldn't you just include the anchor tag in the export template? Something like:

    <a name="<CHARACTER_NAME>">

I'll have to give it a shot tonight, and see if I can make it make more sense.

All I can say is SWEET!!! You wouldn't have a writeup of this character do you? In HeroDesigner perhaps? Please? :D
  11. Originally posted by Killer Shrike By the way, when you post your character, at the very top of the post type this:

<a name="NameOfCharacterWithNoSpacesOrPunctuation"><\a>This will embed an anchor tag in the post and I can put a link directly to the character in the roster line up. Thanx! For example, because I put a tag at the beggining of Gauntlet's post like this:<a name="Gauntlet"><\a>this link will go directly to him:Gauntlet

Hey KS, good idea! How about this one: Add the anchor tag automatically into the export template. :D Then no one has to remember.

To answer your question though I dont know. You'll have to wait for Shrike to post on this to find out. Just out of curiosity though which ones in particular are you thinking of using?

Thanks! :D I have gotten many compliments on it.

I'm thinking of using all of them. I'll probably modify them a bit to fit my campaign, but I'm sure they will make great NPCs. Thanks for the files!

  15. Couple things here.

Don't try to link to free sites. Tripod, geocities, et el all have restrictions to prevent linking to them so that their bandwidth doesn't get abused.

Don't try to upload an image from a website. You need the actual files if you are going to attach it.

If you don't have the actual image on your computer, go to it on the web, right click on it and choose Save As. Put it on your computer. Then do the attachment again pointing to your local drive. That should work better for you.

    1) Make a post, and attach the picture

    2) Click on the link to the picture

    3) Copy the URL from the new window that opens with the picture.

    4) Edit your post by typing in <img src=" than paste the URL from step 3, and then type ">

I have a few (very few) characters I actually created images for and would liek to share them.

So far all my trys were un successful.

    HELP PLEASE.

The easiest way is to click the attachment button at the bottom of a new post.

If you want to have the picture actually display that is a bit more involved. Which would you like to do?
