  1. Humm...what the Champions Setting needs in fake citys which they curently lack:

    1) A western fealing city (Sergestion Name: Star City). A medium size to large city where many people wear ten gallen hats and cowboy boots, where spanish and native american toungs are spoken as much as english, and where the superheros and supervilians tend to get there insperations out of western lore.

    2) A whosome mid-western city much like Milwaukee (Sergestion Name: Midsberg), a place where you can get to anywhere else in the campain world from, but is still enougth going on inside it to keep thoes who don't want to wander away to do. (Of course, all whosome citys have secret slimie underbellies).

    3) A "company town" ("Corp City") where most everybody is employed by one big company. Think Detrot from RoboCop, but cleaner.

Or just combine all 3 and get StarCorpBerg.

  2. Why would a powerful sorceress even bother going toe to toe with her enemies? If she's a glass cannon so what if the PCs defeat her so easily and quickly after going through a meat grinder during the scenario or if she runs away (or tries to) or even surrender causing disgust among the players until she gets the upper hand?

  3. Yeah, since it's an NPC you just don't bother to build it.  Just declare what they do and leave it at that.  If you want to freak out your players, before you perform an effect, grab as many dice as you can hold in both hands and roll them.  Pretend to count up the numbers and then look down at a character sheet.  Pretend to do math, then look up at one of the players and ask how much Power Defense he has.

You can build a reality warping power, but honestly there are so many possibilities that it's not worth it.  It's like saying "how many points would it take to build God?"

The characters really aren't meant to fight this character, from what I gather.  They interact with him but not in a combat sense.  So there's no more reason to give him a writeup than you would a hot dog vendor.

I agree. Its more of a plot device than anything else.

  4. I never liked Millennium City neither. I've used Memphis, Tennessee (settle down y'all rednexs) as a campaign city but used the Hudson City and Vibora Bay books to flesh it out a bit.

For those who are sick of San Angelo, Emerald City in Washington State is a better bet.
