the leader is an ex sidekick turned superspy think bucky grows up to be nick fury type

next we have telepathic grifter

finally we have a cap/batman clone

there will be 2 other members of this team but haven't seen there sheets yet should mention this will take place in the mid to late 60's

Im trying to make this encounter hard enough that running in head first style thinking is a very bad idea but planing and using skills perks ect that can be victories

I think it sounds like a fun game if done right. some background idea

1/ the new teams benefactor is one of the leagues foils (not strictly defined as a villain) who believes his team will be better for the city or at least leave him alone

2/ maybe your team founder could be a legacy of the league that was denied membership so made his own team

3/ the league just seems to good to be true. forming this new team will make public start asking questions

oh should not this is a low point game with a focus on skills more than powers

I am preparing to run a ....... less then good campaign. the pcs take the role of a team of rouges in the vain of the shows leverage or burn notice. first adventure involves a bank job.

what i would like flushing out the bank I am working on the map now but how many guards should be present? how strong is the vault door?

what I know so far about this bank

1/ this is a facility used to house the funds of a dictator in league with my worlds version of viper

2/ its located in his home nation near south america so pcs will need to sneak into country (most likely) and get home

3/ there after a piece of bio/tech not money so bank is a word for lack of better word

also if you can think of any twist i can throw into the mission that might be ........fun for the pcs

well in there first casting they were freaks the doom patrol beat them to that punch. I dont think they had a path till the 70's when the book was relaunched. now in the role of minority that was ground braking but since that time I think it has become a simple cliche. and as the characters evolve it gets worse.

x books clichés: minorities vs the (government or wealthy or other minorities ) who hate and fear them even in a world were a normal gut can be bitten in the crouch by a radio active cyborg turtle and gain the same powers but for some reason this other guys has none of the social problems all mutants must face. miss, she ,ette ,girl clichés: I just like that other existing character only im a female

do you calculate leap and run velocity the same way or is leap just how far you can jump?

I don't know if it applies but I just call for dex checks for what you are describing but the hero can only use his casual jump wile he is running if you see him doing more extreme stunts (say jump throw the air artfully dodging airborne rocks and the like he would need to have the deflect power.) but I like games that use stats as much as possible if jack nimble paid 40 points on dex and matching skills he should get his moneys worth

I always liked the idea of making nick bucky all grown up. he really only has one real power slow aging. so if he was around 25 in world war 2 but looked 13 he would make a ideal spy /wet works agent for the army he would be paired up with steve mostly over the fact steve was morally against some parts of missions but hay if the Nazi are shooting the flag suit the boy can complete the real mission. ......... ok steve Dr. BadCrout has a experimental missile that can kill 1000's stop him you have your orders now go bucky hold back a second. I want Badcrout dead the 100 other missiles he has destroyed and the plans /research brought back to Washington. now go make cap look good and keep your cover

I want to build a hulk like character one of his powers will give him a bonus of 1/2 the strength of the strongest character on the battle field. this is for a mostly street level game. so str 10 is far more common then any other im thinking -1/2 disadvantage or even -3/4 but what sounds right to you
