Subject 2148 had escaped the painful experiments and cruel scientists of the Kobayashi Institute, but the security team was hot on his trail. He attempted to hide in a junkyard, but as his pursuers closed in he closed his eyes and wished for a friend to help protect and save him. When he opened his eyes that friend stood before him. The Janku Kyojin(Junk Giant), as this manifestation of Subject 2148's abilities would be dubbed by the Institute, easily dispatched the security team. Subject 2148 and his new friend escaped into the night. Thus was the beginning of their adventures together.

Ike "Skrewdriver" Stieger is a tattooed street brawler neo-nazi skinhead sterotype and proud of it. Easily goaded and riled up by the other team members to go into a berserk rage and flurry of punches, kicks and headbutts. New Team: The Hunting Party-Three aliens that have come to Earth to compete with other to see who can get the best kill.

Lt. Nico Garibaldi served in Word War 2 with the original formation of the Devil's Brigade. During a mission he was captured and turned over to Doctor Von Schrek, a Nazi scientist working on the Ubermensch super soldier process. Garibaldi was to be a guinea pig to be used and discarded, but the process worked and Garibadi used his heightened strength, speed and regenerative abilities to break free, kill Von Schrek and destroy the facility. He continued to serve the US military as a secret weapon under various codenames, Black Devil, Red Spear, Brave One etc. Over the decades showing little sign of aging due to his abilities. He will be a very personal target of the White Master as Von Schrek was one of his relatives to fall to the Brigade.

The Evangelist-Mark can channel what he considers to be the word of God. To the innocent it provides comfort, encouragement and guidance. To the guilty it can provide terrible judgment and this aspect is accompanied by a golden aura of a winged lion surrounding Mark as he sounds a roar that debilitates the target and against demonic entities can destroy or banish them from this reality.

Roy Oxley was an amateur inventor and bored salesman who created the costumed identity of Spring Heeled Jack based on the urban legend. He created hydraulic boots allowing him to leap high, climbing claws, and a demon mask with glowing eyes that granted him night and infrared vision. The mask also had a small flame projector in the mouth which was more to create a frightening image, but could be used as a close quarter weapon in a pinch. Oxley enjoyed a career as a second story man as part of a crew of criminals with Jackanapes, Mod King and The Dandy. Whatever profit he gained he would gamble away however, and eventually was in great debt to powerful criminal Lord Gideon Gray. He would eventually die of lung cancer while in prison still owing a great deal of money to Gray. This debt fell to his only child Belinda. She reluctantly agreed to take up the mantle and being a tech wizard herself modified and improved her father’s old designs and works for Gray as Spring Heeled Jill. Gray has loaned out her services to be part of Viridian Bat’s heist crew.

I would say as long as you aren"t specifically using those characters and just give it a spin of your own it is fine I mean my submissions are generally thinly veiled homages at best and blatant rip-offs at worst. The more entries the merrier I say.

I can't help from imagining El Cubano wearing a luchadore mask to hide his disfigured face and having metal hands that replace his shattered ones. Frankie "The Face" Giordano was a capo in the Trafficante crime family. Stalker and Lady Midnight were given a contract by a rival family and proceeded to slaughter the entire crew. However Lady Midnight was somewhat taken by Frankie's handsome features and did not completely drawn him of life. Thus Frankie was transformed into a vampire himself. Waking in the morgue and quickly slating his new thirst on an unfortunate attendant he soon adapted to his condition. He has embraced his new power as a major player in the criminal underworld and he considers himself the leader of the Victims under his new moniker Frankie Fangs.

Swordswoman extraordinaire Daz Wildheart and sorceress supreme Yari Brightmoon are the most famous heroes in the Crystal Kingdoms renowned for their amazing adventures and for defending the realm from evil. Their wedding at the Prism Palace was the most celebrated occasion in the kingdoms history, but then tragedy struck. Daz and Yari opened a “gift” that ended up being from their most powerful enemy the High Priestess Auzil. They were struck with a curse of being “Forever Together” that merged them into one being. The couple despaired at first, but now heroically continue to fight the good fight while seeking a cure to the curse and to stop Auzil’s evil machinations once and for all.

Brit Lassiter was a corrupt cop gunned down by Tombstone Kid. It turned out Lassiter was but one of a long line of people who have worn the badge and tarnished it with abuse of power and evil deeds. One such ancestor was Bret Lassiter a marshal in the old west. His evil spirit resurrected Brit as a shadowy ghast brandishing poison dealing spectral six shooters. The Dark Marshal now rides with the Victims and looks to have her showdown with the Kid.

Only two entries, but both well done. The winner is Zavior as I like the multiple cosmic force aspects concept and can imagine a huge crossover event where they all combine to threaten reality as a near unstoppable entity. Steriaca has the floor.

The Grays-Steven, Jennifer, and Patsy Oliver gained Majesitc's powerful psionic abilities and were transformed into beings with grey waxy skin, large round heads with large black eyes. They are mind linked and their telepathy, telekinesis etc are much stronger when they are in close proximity. (They count as 3 towards the 12 to help move this along I would think) LGM-(Little Green Man) Marvin Marshman gained the ability to shrink his body down to near microscopic levels. When his power is active his skin takes on a green coloration. He has recently discovered that with great effort he can also grow to giant size, but this tires him very quickly. Men in Black- His identity unknown this suit and dark glasses wearing man gained the ability to create duplicates of himself. If there is a strange event or suspicious disaster you can be sure one of his copies is nearby to investigate.

Shiver- Ashley Shaw was a high ranking ad executive but found her career ascension halted because she refused to trade favors with her boss for advancement. She was labeled an ice queen and cold hearted bitch at her workplace. Bitter and filled with hatred and desperate for some kind of revenge she attracted the attention of a minor demon named Zyzin who granted her the power to create a tough ice like armor around her body and an icy touch that would instantly freeze it's target. She had become the very thing her enemies had mockingly labeled her and after she gained her revenge she continues to take what she wants and wreak revenge on the world as part of Cold Front.

The Cold Front-4 villains with ice or cold based powers. If this is a repeat idea I apologize as I haven't checked the entire thread.

Thanks for the heads up in both threads death tribble clearly counting is not my strong suit. I'll throw out this idea and apologies if the concept has already been used as I haven't read the entire thread. Majestic 12-12 individuals who were present when the most powerful superhero in the world Majestic fell victim to his rival Obsidious and all gained one of Majestic's many powers when his life essence left his body.

Penny Copper the Gizmo Girl is the daughter of inventor/adventurer Doc Copper and accompanied him, often against his wishes, on his travels around the globe discovering the mysteries and fighting evil. She would eventually join the Empire Statesmen one of the first "superteams". The team disbanded in the mid 70s and Penny became the administrator of the Copper Academy, a school for children with exceptional abilities. Sadly the Academy was destroyed by the Lethal Legion and a emotionally devastated and physically wounded Penny went into seclusion. Recently, at the request of the other members of Redoubt she has joined as the resident inventor and tech expert. She now goes by name Doc Copper.

Professor Plunder was mad scientist arch nemesis of inventor/adventurer Doc Copper. During the final clash between the two Plunder was pulled through a warp portal and ended up trapped in Dimension Z. He was finally able to escape through a rift that opened during a super battle. He emerged in the modern age a changed man. He has mastered control of the Zeta energy that makes up Dimension Z and used it to create an army of mindless automations that he calls his Zubjects and taken the mantle King Plunder.

Tony "Popper" Paulowski was the gum chewing wise cracking side kick to a number of silver age heroes. Always in the wrong place at the wrong time and in danger from every imaginable peril and always saved in the nick of time by his super powered pals. Paulowski later discovered that it wasn't just bad luck. He had the gift of subtle precognition and would instinctually go to sites that deep down he knew disasters, crimes or supervillain activity would soon occur. A run in with the dimension, space and time hopping thief Tempus Fugitive send him spiraling to the future and the year 2357. This trip through the Warp Zone also granted him the ability to now travel through space and time. He realized that with his ability to know when and where crises would occur and with the help of the heroic Intergalactic Conglomeration of Super-Beings he created a suit that would allow him to signal any heroes to respond to the areas he warped to with his power. He would be The Beacon,

Gabriel Sandoval was a low level tech for VIPER at a nest in Madrid. During an UNTIL raid Gabriel attempted to find his wife and fellow tech Gia and as he ran towards her a huge explosion rocked the facility. She was crushed under rubble right before his eyes. He managed to escape capture and also took with him a prototype laser sniper/cybernetic hud interface called the Basilisk. Now known as Red Eye Sandoval uses the high powered weapon and bleeding edge targeting system as tool for revenge against UNTIL while also on the run from VIPER. He keeps a ragged scrap of his wife's dress that he pulled from the wreckage tied around his arm as a constant reminder of his mission.

Ray Scofield was once known as The Daring Daisy a member of the 60s superteam Flower Power. However while attempting to bring a peaceful resolution to a campus protest he ended up injuring several National Guardsmen and was arrested and sent to prison. Feeling abandoned and forgotten by his teammates and the public he emerged a free and very bitter man. He seeks revenge against his former allies and the entire world as The Daisy of Doom!!
