Allure Gabrielle Lawrence is the daughter of psionic superhero Focus and martial artist supervillain The Asp. After years of playing a game of cat and mouse and teasing the sexual tension her parents gave into temptation. She was the result and led to her mother reforming and giving up life as a costumed criminal.. Gabby developed the mental ability to persuade people as she reached her teens and was enrolled in Ravenswood. Through testing it was discovered she couldn't control minds, but beguile the mind and make targets susceptible to suggestion and put them in a passive stunned state. Also this power only worked on males. She was given the codename Sway. Joining the Magpies is Gabby rebelling against her strict and square father and following in the much more exciting path her mother used to tread. She is in it purely for the thrills and isn't looking to hurt anyone, but if push comes to shove and her mental ability fails, or she is up against women, she can fall back on her martial arts and acrobatic training she has engaged in since her early childhood.

Lady In White Hattie Kittridge wears the bone white gloves that give her the powers of invisibility, intangibility, the ability to generate a chilling mist and to project fear into targets. She is much more secretive and less public than the rest of the team and isn't interested in living a second younger more glamorous life, but just tries to do good and then return to her normal life. Hattie has always been a curious sort and whenever she picked a book for the club it was always a mystery. This has extended into her hero career as she has often teams with Detective Valerie Alvarez to help solve murder cases as opposed to more flashy battles with supervillains. Hattie is also worried that the gloves may be altering their personalities the more they are worn and has tried to discover more about their origins as well as the background the magician who gifted them.

Reveuse- Sophia Caron is a quiet introverted 13 year old whose mutant ability is triggered by her narcolepsy. When she falls asleep she transforms into an adult golden skinned woman with powers of flight, super strength, damage resistance and energy projection. Her personality in her "dream state" is brimming with confidence, assertiveness and she is a natural leader. Her training at the school is dedicated to giving her control of her transformations.

Renard A shapeshifting pansexual prankster, spy and con artist. They claim to be a mutant, but some of the instructors at the Academy suspect a mythical/mystical origin is more likely. They can assume the look of any human, but can also take the form of a fox or in cases of combat a fierce human/fox hybrid.

Bloorp Sue Haskins was messing around with what she thought was the ships teleporter and ended up being the aliens food synthesizer. Her body was transformed into a gelatinous mass but she somehow retained some low level intelligence. The Brigade were eventually able to get her to follow basic instructions. Her body can absorb tremendous punishment, is considerably strong, can stretch short distances, entangle or engulf enemies, and ooze through small openings. The Brigade named her after the amusing/gross sound she makes when she moves.

Okay, what's her story?

The Over Family Just as the Lethal Legion had the heroes of Crescent City defeated and the populace at their mercy the Over Family came to the rescue. The super strong and resiliant Over Man. His wife, the psionically gifted Over Maiden, Their son, the lightning wielding Over Lad and their daughter the speedster Over Lass. The Over Family quickly became the most celebrated heroes in the city. Unbeknownst to all however was that this seemingly heroic family had escaped from an alternate dimension in which they were Uber Mensch, Uber Madchen, Uber Junge and Uber Madel the genetically modified enforcers of the Fourth Reich, which in their world dominated the world until being overthrown by the resistance. They now plan to maintain their popularity and gain the trust of the citizens and governments to use this to eventually attempt to takeover and rule this reality.

The Orchestrator- Chelsea Walsh is the team leader and the person that brought them together. While her own musical ability is sadly lacking she has an almost extrasensory ability when it comes to listening to sounds and uses that to determine patterns and be able to predict dangers and potential disasters and crimes. It allows her to see a situation like a robbery or a kidnapping and create a plan that allows the team to execute their abilities in conjunction to produce as she says "beautiful music" and win the day. She utilizes the Sounding Room in the Music Society's base of operations, called the The Conservatory, to magnify and "read" sounds that the team broadcast back to her while in the field.

Il Conduttore-Claudio Luisi was conducting a symphony orchestra when the music hall was attacked by supervillain the Mad Maestro. He wrecked havoc while raving that all music was inferior to his creations. Luckily the superhero Valorosa was also in attendance and the two battled. As Luisi scrambled to escape he grabbed his music sheets and baton. However the baton was one of Mad Maestro's and was enchanted. Immediately feeling the power Luisi channeled his musical training to help Valorosa defeat the crazed conductor. Inspired Luisi became a hero himself. His baton is magically powered and allows Il Conduttore to create a variety of effects all accompanied by appropriate music generated by the baton. Flight, inducing sleep, powerful destructive sound waves, and a deafening cacophony are amongst his most used effects.

St John "Sterling" Silver. The Silver family line is full of brigands, cut purses, highwayman and pirates. Over the years, as their wealth and influence grew, the need to steal to survive was replaced by the challenge of pulling off thefts that were thought to be impossible. St John, equipped with the skills passed down by his parents, grandparents uncles and aunts and with vast wealth is able to plan, coordinate and execute daring heists that leave people gobsmacked. The Baramunda Ruby secured in a time sealed, reinforced ultimanium vault protected by laser tripwires, pressure and temperature alarms and a squad of mercenaries? Done before tea time with the Ruby replaced by a tin egg bearing the Silver family crest. The one of a kind prototype supercar the Veron Mark IV owned by Prince Namir and kept in a bunker under tons of desert and stone and only the Prince's DNA, retinal, blood sample, voice and image match can access it? Child's play my dear boy with the car replaced by a broken wind up toy. Thus far no one has ever been injured during these heists and many times it was days or weeks before anyone knew they had even occurred. St John most often won't keep his prizes either. He has auctioned off priceless relics for pennies and gifted others to charities and watched bemusedly as the rich have had to take them back and suffered the bad press.

Gaz Yakihara, a celebrated teen prodigy and scientific genius living in the year 2753 one day received a projected message from his future self warning about the risks of time travel. Despite this Gaz completed his T.E.M.P.O(Temporal Energy Manipulating Projector/Optimized) device and began exploring the time stream and became the heroic Chrono Kid. However in an alternate time line, an adult disgraced and bitter Gaz received a message from his teen self warning him about time travel. This Gaz, driven by paranoia and using stolen tech managed to create a version of the T.E.M.P.O device himself. He traveled to several time-lines killing versions of himself causing paradoxes and time tremors. It did not matter to him as he believed by eliminating his counterparts in time he was removing threats to his attempts to rule all time lines as the Chrono King! New Team- H.A.T (Honour Among Thieves) 4 gentleman/women thieves who adhere to a code of ethics and carry themselves with style and aplomb. They treat theft as high art to be respected and not sullied by brutish actions.

Cassandra Casteele, billionaire business magnate and genius engineer, had everything she could ever desire money, power, influence, adoration of the public but one thing escaped her grasp....Majestic. The worlds most powerful superhero spurned first her romantic advances and then was forced to fight against her schemes and plots to dominant and forcible control him. Frustrated time and time again Casteele finally decided that if she couldn't possess Majestic she would create a copy of him that she could control. Utilizing genetic splicing technology and advanced cloning she proceeded with her task. However she was missing Majestic's unique link to the Omniversal Energy Matrix that gave him his array of powers and abilities. Enter the mysterious mystic known as Vartek. Vartek created a rune stone that would harness the Omniversal Energy and grant the duplicate power. Thus was born The Sovereign -a powerful being completely under the sway of the megalomaniacal Casteele. Sovereign classed with Majestic several times to a stalemate and finally they had a knock down drag out battle on the surface of the moon. Sovereign, not having experience with his powers, taxed his link to the OEM and was overwhelmed with energy and his body was destroyed. Casteele recovered the charred remains and demanded Vartek resurrect her creation. Vartek warned her of the dangers, but complied. The thing that came back was not The Sovereign, but a dark twisted shadow filled with nothing but hate. It slew Vartek and crippled Casteele and planned a much slower death to pay her back for enslaving it. Casteele was saved by Majestic however and the creature retreated to the shadows. It named itself Obsidious and eventually succeeded in destroying Majestic and now attempts to regain the power he once held.

The leader of the Savage Seven is Takashi Shimada aka Ghost Maker legendary ronin warrior. He takes a drug known as Quickblood to grant him brief moments of super speed and lightning reflexes that he incorporates into his fighting style utilizing handguns and a katana. He initially viewed the job of protecting the town as the same as any other, but now he sees this as a chance to finally use his skills in an honorable way. He holds no illusions about the upcoming fight and how the odds are stacked against the Seven, but he takes some solace in the belief that he is doing the right thing and that it may give him peace in the end. New Team: The Doppel Gang- Six villains who are evil doubles of heroes(via teleporter incident, cloning, mirror universe etc)

Well I guess another win by default. I'll go ahead and post in hopes of keeping the thread somewhat active.

Hombre Numero Uno, the heavily muscled, scar covered, Dia de los Muertos themed luchadore mask wearing man is a mystery. Rumors abound that his father attempted to toughen him up at age 6 by entering him in dog fights and that he killed his first man at age 9 and hides his face because it was scarred by acid or fire. Rumors aside, the fact is that he is one of the world's most deadly combatants whether it is in the kill or be killed world of underground fighting or as a mercenary for the cartels, criminal organizations and supervillains. Seemingly impervious to pain he is unrelenting and brutally efficient. He however hides something from his teammates. The last several years he has been plagued by PTSD and has horrible nightmares and hallucinations of his past victims. He took this job in the hopes of the overwhelming odds would force him to face and overcome his fears, but as the final battle looms he is barely able to hide his condition and fears this fight will be his last.

Water Works- Ruthie Sullivan is a plumber and inventor who created a juryrigged water powered set of armor made up of various plates, pipes, valves and hoses. The armor is outfitted with an internal water supply, but when she connects it to an outside source she amps the power of her wrist mounted water cannons and her water jump jet boots to frankly wildly out of control and dangerous levels. It is not unheard of for Water Works to end up flying through the air on the end of a hose while flailing and firing powerful streams in all directions, but she means well.

Hotshot- Rip Riley was a small time thief who stole a prototype for a handheld flamethrower and decided to join the ranks supervillainy. He is cocky and brash and desperate to prove himself. He wormed his way onto the team by being annoyingly persistent until the rest of team begrudingly accepted him. He doesn't care so much about the town or even the money, it's all about increasing his rep in the supervillain community.

Rakshasi- She is a member of the shape shifting race known as the I'quatari who was given the name after the creature of legend on one of her first hunts when she killed and partially devoured the Indian hero Titan before she was defeated by his ally the Azure Tiger. She has the ability to telepathically probe her target and find a trusted loved one who she will then transform into a duplicate of them and draw the victim in close before revealing her monstrous form and consuming them. She only leaves the skull as a trophy. She has a special hatred for Azure Tiger as she was denied her trophy and wishes to take Tiger's skull as payback.

Corporal Maya "Lucky" Lopez served in Iraq with the most recent iteration of the Brigade and is the first female to be a member. She earned the nickname Lucky after surviving some heavy engagements without a scratch. However her luck finally ran out when an IED was triggered while she was on a patrol. She lost the majority of her left arm, both legs and received major damage to her torso. She eventually volunteered for a new cybernetics program and this time her luck held as she was one of the only participants whose body did not reject the implanted tech. Her cybernetic left arm grants her heightened strength, her legs heightened speed and leaping power, and her torso is lined with an armor plating protecting her vital organs. New Team: The Utility Players- Five heroes whose powers correspond with public utilities like gas, electricity, water, recycling, wind power, sewage etc.
