Ndreare
Hey I got MMM today and it looks good. I realy like this book it's handy to have default people like humans to refer to. It is nice to just look something up now and then as opposed to making every thing new. I think this book will get more use than ony of the other books I have purchased from DOJ (excepting the Grimoire) But and there is always a but... It is missing one of the pics and in the back it still has the lay out note for two of the pics? Anyone have the news on that?
Steve Long
On the first point -- it would be helpful if you would more specifically describe what you're talking about. For example, a page number would be great. On the second point -- I assume you're referring to the art on page 128. We just put that in to fill up the page and show those illos in a little more detail. The "layout notes" are actually a reference to which page you can find those monsters on. Glad you're enjoying the book!
Ndreare
Never mind it was a logic jump and I failed the test, I did not get the whole invisable creature so nothing to show thing. On page 88 it has a picture labled as "Artist Depiction of X Creature" I simply saw that the pic was blank and did not connect that the creature was always invisable. Although it would have been cool to have a background pic for me to stare at for hopurs looking for the "Hiden" (not visable) monster. TheTemplar
Err...so as not to derail the thread... I THINK I see a copy of MMM under my Christmas tree...at least I HOPE I do.. I'm looking forward to the Invisible Creature pic. I like to show my players the pics of the monsters they are fighting...that should get a good laugh. I think I'll tell them that I personally commissioned Storn to draw an invisible stalker for our campaign, and then just show them a sheet of printer paper. I think we need to wait for the Turakian Age setting book before we get any of those. Gotta have some sort of shared background for the characters...
