Hello! I'm playing an AI that lives in power armor. I see that AI is one of the choices for a new character in Hero Designer. Is this what I should be using, or just go with superheroic (we have a 500 pt build)?

It depends if you want to build an AI (as defined within the rules) or a character.

HERO System is about reasoning from effect.

Any idea where that AI description can be found?

Speaking as a GM I would write this up as normal character instead of using the AI rules.   Having a player use the AI rules for his character creates too many problems.  Even using the automation powers can be problematic and will often be vetoed.
