Very well done character background. The first person perspective was a nice twist. I do hope you'll post the character stats so we can see her writeup.

The GM mentioned he was looking for inner perspective in the campaign writeup (Solo campaign, Global Guardians Universe) and I thought that would be a good way to show it.

 

I'm still toying with the full character writeup, here's where I'm at so far. It's a 250+150 game, GGU rules in effect.

I've used straight narrative, without even any flashbacks. I do show the thoughts of many of the characters.

 

If your role-playing is as good as your character writing you should do very well indeed.

 

You wouldn't mind telling me what city you live in, would you?

Thanks. I put myself on the list so I can follow your adventures. I've always wanted to try a solo campaign, even if by e-mail. My one attempt to join a PBEM game petered out after about 9 weeks because some of the players wouldn't ever reply and the GM understandably got pissed and cancelled the campaign. He mentioned possibly starting it up again but that was last September so I guess he decided not to.

 

Obviously Zl'f wouldn't be the right kind of character to play in this type of gritty Hudson City campaign; she's much too four-color. I think your choice to go with a young idealistic character was a good one.

What type of campaigns typically run in GGU? Four-color? Dark Champions? Galactic level?

We haven't had any Galactic level games yet, though I'm hoping. As for the rest, we've got a Dark campaign coming up (its a "Suicide Squad"-style game where the PCs are villains cutting a deal with the government), some four-colors coming up (including a "former kid sidekick's all growed up" game and a corporate heroes game), and some heroic level games as well.

Well, the first thing you'd have to do is sign up for the Admin List, upon which all the game announcements are made. Subbing to the Community Chat list is optional, but its also a good thing to do.

 

When the GM of a campaign you are interested in makes his call for players, you submit your character. If the game you want to get into already has a team and is active, then basically you have to wait around for an opening.
