megaplayboy
Just curious, since the rules aren't explicit on this, how do people handle psych lims which are complementary--i.e., something comes up which involves more than one psych lim. Do you have the PC/NPC make one EGO roll with an enhanced penalty/bonus, or one roll for each psych lim? I'm thinking for two Strong psych lims, make one roll at -5(same as one Total), and for two Total psych lims, make one roll at -10(!) to overcome the lims. One context for this is a villain who does psychic surgery which gives two total commitment psych lims which tend to complement most of the time, in order to maximize control of their victims. any thoughts? Dust Raven
Re: Complementary psych lims question If both the psych lims are Moderate, I'd make the situation require an EGO Roll. If both were Strong, I'd require two rolls (one for each). If both were Total, there had better be dange of the universe imploding or there isn't a chance. Mix'n'match? Strong+Moderate=EGO Roll -X. Strong/Moderate+Total=Slim to None Chance.
