Toadmaster
I'm just curious how people handle a negative range mod, personally I don't count it at less than 2" range but start to include it at the 2-4" range (normally 0 penalty). So for example if I have a sawed off shotgun +2 OCV -2 RMod, at point blank (less than 2") the shooter gets +2 OCV, +0 for range, at 2-4" they would be +2 OCV, -2 Range, at 4-8" +2 OCV, -4 range etc. Not sure this is correct but it feels right, just wondering how others deal with it. Old Man
Re: Rmod question I use the optional range chart (FREd p. 246). I would seem a good idea to ignore a weapons range penalty if there isn't one to begin with.
pinecone
Re: Rmod question I've never really thought about it before...I reacon I'd do the same way you do...at point blank range there is no modifier......
