Curufea
This is just going to be (to begin with) a simple macro-free excel spreadsheet to convert currencies for different systems. Including coinage. The only tricky bit is the "dollar worth" (I don't know the actual word - I never did economics). But in general I've tried to keep the most common wage relative in the most common coinage. So it's simply a matter of comparison before breaking it down into different coins. ie one Australian dollar = 0.59 Euros or 0.76 US dollars (or 0.0125 medieval pennies)
Curufea
Re: Fantasy Currency Converter Okay, here you go. If it asks to enable macros for security reasons - just say no. The sheet doesn't use macros for calculations - but there are some stuffed in there anyway as defaults (but ignore them). To get conversions, just edit the yellow highlighted areas. If you don't want all denominations of coins - then delete them from the listings for that currency (at the top). Feel free to change the currencies or how they relate to each other. I should also add, the currencies it's set up for are- Australian and US, old English Imperial system, AD&D, the Netbook pricelist, Rolemaster, Fantasy Hero and my Western Shores setting. Teflon Billy
Re: Fantasy Currency Converter This is great, but one quibble. I know it isn't important but US Currency also has a $50 denomination (It has Pres. U.S. Grant's face on it, fyi) Other than that, this is pretty cool. Why don't you through the Harry Potter currency in there for the heck of it? TB
Curufea
Re: Fantasy Currency Converter New I forgot something - I had to look up the US bills It's been a few years since I read the books, so I can't remember the Harry Potter coinage. Galleons were in there somewhere, what were the rest?
