Ndreare
Re: Latent Personality Traits I'm updating an character who has powerful hydrokinetic abilities that resulted from gene therapay treatments using Atlantean DNA (it could have been lemurian for all the villians who did this to her know ). Along with these powers came a little suprise: the personality of the "ancient atlantean storm queen" was stored in these genes via rubbery-science genetic memory. In addition to the hydrokinesis this provides the character with a built in contact AND rival. However' date=' it also gives her an accidental change (14-) to the "storm queen persona" if she pushes her powers the storm queen (who is far more powerful and can also affect weather) takes over - this, as her teammates know from experience, is [i']Extremely Bad [/i]). All good thus far. However, I wanted to model the fact that, when the character is tired, or under duress, or simply letting her guard down, the storm queen can nudge her impulses and cause uncharacteristic personality traits to come to the fore (not take over, per say). Would you model this as a psychological limitation, or another accidental change? I agree with Lemming, Now on a differnt note, this character sounds very cool. you should post her when you have her completed. (Along with any other background story for her.) Black Rose
Re: Latent Personality Traits Make it a third for posting. I think you could do it with: Psych Lim: Ancient Atlantean Storm Queen Influences Behavior If Not On Guard Now for the value, I couldn't say. I'd go with (Un)Common Strong - since it really only affects you when you're not "on guard", you don't want it to be squelched by a casual EGO+5 roll.
