SleepyDrug
I don't know if this has been done here before. But does anyone know any good websites to find visuals of weapons (by themselves) to use as a pictoral gallery of weapons available.
Frenchman
Re: Weapon Imagery www.weaponmasters.com has a pretty good catalog. Other similar sites do as well.

AmadanNaBriona
Re: Weapon Imagery http://www.ageofchivalry.com/ These are some good guys... they were more or less the main approved weapons dealer for my guild. Great selection of historically accurate weapons, unlike many of the other sites with more fantastical weapons.. not that all the fantasy weapons are bad. EDIT: Looks like they're still selling the sword I got as a ritual blade... its a freaking gorgeous peice of craft.. http://ageofchivalry.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=105&Product_ID=979&CATID=37 and THIS one was carried by about half of our galloglass http://ageofchivalry.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=105&Product_ID=1654&CATID=

The stall faced west, and it was late in the day, so the wares had been in the sun for a few hours. When I picked up the piece (after asking, I'm not a 'dane), it felt like shaking someone's hand. It was so warm, almost alive. I decided that, before I die, I will have a piece like that, and that "warm" feeling is now the default description for "blessed" weapons (as opposed to magewrought) in my world; of course, it helps that the world in question is held at a permanent Bronze Age by very few iron deposits in the area (there's more falling out of the sky than in the ground) and iron's "impossibility to forge" (when iron eats magic, and everything in your culture uses just a little magic, it's hard to heat and pound it). That was my responce when I first saw this one too. Despite my years of faire, I never really got into the whole blade collecting thing, but the first time I saw this at the Age of Chivalry booth, I decided I HAD to have one. They're handmade, and (at least when I got mine) were in short supply. I've never regretted it. In my more whimsical moments I call it my Peter Pan sword.
