Though the Alec Baldwin movie wasn't very good, they did do a nice job of integrating the radio and magazine versions. That's probably what I'd go (but I'd change Margo Lane to the Agnes Moorehead radio version - she rocked)

I rather liked it. I could translate every scene into Hero System terms, as the movie was going on. First time that happened to me! (It's happened many times since, but The Shadow was the first.)

 

When I'm done with Fu Manchu, I plan on getting to the Avenger. When I'm done with him, maybe I'll pick up the Shadow books and do a version of him.
