Here's the website: http://ageofconan.com/ It looks like it's going to be pretty good. Link to screenshots. To start off, you get to pick from 3 Races (Cimmerian, Aquilonian, and Stygian). More races are expected to appear in the future; supposedly as the world contitues to be more fully developed. You pick a base Archetype (Priest, Warrior, Thief, Mage) at level 5, at which time you can also get involved in Guild Prestige Classes (Lord, Commander, Crafter or Master). At level 20, you pick a more specialized Class specific to your choosen Archetype: Priest Archetype Priest of Mitra Scourge of Derketo Scion of Set Druid Bear Shaman Storm Caller Warrior Archetype Guardian Halberdier Conqueror Liberator Crusader Dark Templar Thief Archetype Defiler Lotus Master Master Thief Barbarian Reaver Ranger Waylayer Mage Archetype Lich Necromancer Herald of Xotli Demonologist I must say, I'm pretty hot for this game. It looks like the developers are attempting to create the game to please Conan-philes, and are not interested in concepts like political correctness, or minor-friendly themes and settings. Just good old fashioned barbarism and decadence, laced with supernatural horror and the manly arts (such as bar-fighting, and war-making). Since then I've been hyped about many MMO's but now a days they all blur to sameness... About the only thing that stands out to me is that apparently you play the first 20 levels as an offline game.
