slaughterj
A LONG time ago, I had some hex maps that folded up to an 8 1/2 x 11 stack, but when folded out, were at least 8 such sheets effectively in size, and had a path, preset boulders, trees, etc. on them, and were properly sized for miniatures. I'm unable to find such, but they're great scenery for "random" encounters. Anybody know what I'm talking about and where to get something like this? TechnoViking
The Hero Resource Kit has a couple maps like this, including the classic Main & Vine map (a treasure for members of the OFCL). Mike

Chris Goodwin
I've got some old ones from Steve Jackson Games, intended for GURPS. I think they were for 1" = 3 feet scale; I'm not sure if they scale up right for Hero. Can't remember what they were called, though; each map had an outdoor scene on one side and a building of some kind on the other.

If you could post a digipic, that'd be cool, but if not, no big deal - I'll look into SJG stuff online to see what I can find...
