Eosin
Re: dispel Hey Steph, First, the definition of the Dispel needs to be considered. I'll assume that it was Dispel One Magical Effect (rather than All Magic Powers). The second is how the Black Stone Spell was bought. 1. If the stone is an expendable OAF then it was used up (The spell was already cast before it was dispelled). 2. If the stone is a simple OAF then nothing would happen to it. There is a huge range of possibilities here but those are the two main variables.
Erkenfresh
Re: dispel Steph, you may be thinking of Suppress or Drain. If you Suppress or Drain one power that requires a focus then I think it Suppresses or Drains all powers that require that same focus. (At the very least that makes some sense). As for Dispel, it simply stops that one spell and that's it.
Curufea
Re: dispel It is possible to dispel magic items and break them. I seem to remember reading that in FH.
