Kristopher
How would you construct an improvement in turn mode? That is, what would it take to allow a character in flight to make more turns / make turns more often? Example: a character with 15" of flight would normally have to move 3 hexes between 60-degree changes in direction when making a full move. Aerobat would like to be able to make a 60-degree change in direction in *every* hex he travels through. What should it cost him?
BobGreenwade
A +1/4 Advantage, No Turn Mode.
Lord Liaden
You can apply Movement Skill Levels to reduce your Turn Mode: each MSL reduces the Turn Mode by 1". For one form of movement like Flight, each MSL costs 2 Char. Pts., or you can have Levels that apply to any form of Movement the character possesses for 3 CP per level. (Note that MSL have benefits other than Turn Mode - see 5E p. 242.)
Kristopher
So they are in FRED. Excellent. A GM of mine used to have them as a house rule, but I missed them reading through the new book. Thanks.
