Zane_Marlowe
In my Victorian Hero game, my players are going to be going the gothic monster-hunter route. One of them is a weaponsmith/marksman, and we decided to give him the ability to improve firearms as a power, but I don't know quite how to get what I want. How do I create the following power: +1 DC, +1 OCV, +1 vs. penalties, requires an existing firearm to modify. He may also have the ability to make rounds armor piercing, add range, or do a variety of other things (I'm open to suggestions here) to weapons, so please suggest ideas and builds as appropriate. Thanks!
Shaft
Re: How do I... ? Buy it as a minor transform (average gun to superior gun) with extra time and OIF (appropriate equipment) that requires a Weaponsmith roll.

ghost-angel
Re: How do I... ? Combat Skill Levels with a "Must have time to modify weapon." as a Limitation (value up to you). Naked Advantages also work well here.
Shaft
Re: How do I... ? Another question might be: are those bonuses usable by anyone using the weapon? Or just yourself?
Zane_Marlowe
Re: How do I... ? That's a good question. I think it would be usable by others, but perhaps only temporarily (the weapon must be maintained after all). I was thinking about naked modifiers too. Can someone post a build? I tried building it about three times and didn't find quite what I was looking for.
