Lucius
Re: List of Professions Basically, if you don't like Perk: License to practice a profession...don't use it. Or start a thread talking about why they should be taken out of the game. But that discussion doesn't really relate to what this project is trying to do. You're right. I was going off on a tangent. FireTiger
Re: List of Professions Package Deals used to be how most professions were noted in game terms, I could probably dig through my book pile and see if there are any useful ones in there that haven't been covered yet. (Which reminds me, I need to look at the compiled list again.)
Korvar
Re: visiting Irksome Perks Look' date=' I’m not saying you don’t need a license to practice medicine or law. What I’m saying is that if you’ve already SPENT POINTS ON being qualified (as in, having the skills) to practice a profession, why should you have to SPEND MORE POINTS on the license? [/quote'] Because how else do you distinguish between the doctor with a licence and the doctor without one? Having the licence gives you access to facilities and resources that someone without that licence can't get. A doctor without a licence to practice has to be wary of the police. Being able to perform the job: points spent on skills Being *allowed* to perform the job: Points spent on perks Access to resources and not being harassed by the authorities? Priceless.
