Narratio
Re: Sad news... Two obits on that link. I'd heard of Serpe from an art fan, but never appreciated how much work he had done and I still have a complete run of Rocketeer. One almost unknown craftsman who made the everage good and the good better and one known craftsman who left us with far too little. RIP guys. Hawknight
Re: Sad news... I met Dave Stevens back in 1980 at the Pacific Comics in Oceanside, CA where I still live. He was a great guy to answer questions from a snot nosed kid, but his patience led me to discover not only his characters but all the great work Pacific put out. I was so excited to hear about the Rocketeer movie and it is still one of my favorite "Pulp" modern movies. Thanks Dave, and great work.
