Re: Where can I find mermaid information?

Here, if you want something official this is from Star Hero:

MERFOLK PACKAGE DEAL

Ability Cost

Water-Breathing: Life Support (Expanded

Breathing: breathe underwater; Safe

Environments: High Pressure, Intense Cold) 8

Webbed Hands And Feet: Swimming +3” 3

Nightvision 5

Environmental Movement: Aquatic Movement 3

Disadvantages Value

Vulnerability: 2 x Effect from Sight Group

Flashes based on bright light (Common) -20

Total Cost Of Package: -1

However, these people are designed so they can still walk on land and don't have a tail. add these:

Physical Limitation : Can't walk on land (Frequently, Greatly Impairing)

Tail swing: Hand-To-Hand Attack +2d6 (10 Active Points); Hand-To-Hand Attack (-1/2)

But this still allows them to breathe on land, as most mermaids are depicted as doing, in fiction and Disney films.

Cool stuff. Thanks for the information. I'm thinking of having her be a minor area celebrity. Since she was a helpful girl before a mad scientist turned her into a mermaid, she's still helpful. Currently, she rescues drowning people and stranded boaters.

She's a pretty mermaid with dark brown hair, sparkling blue eyes, golden scales on her tail and breasts, and a warm personality.

She's also an insightful conversationalist and loves picnicking with friends in sheltered coves by the water's edge. This way, she can find out what's going on in the world and enjoy foods she can't get underwater.

Soon, I'll put the character into HD3, and post her comment. Once the build's satisfactory, I'll attach the HD3 file.
