Captain Obvious
It's occurred to me many times while reading an adventure that it would go well with Valdorian Age with just a few tweaks, to get the right mechanics and feel. I've meant to start making and posting conversion documents for a while now, and now I've finally gotten around to it. This adventure was originally for the Conan d20 game, and can be found free at Mongoose Publishing's website.
Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Another Mongoose Conan adventure. These are pretty quick and easy conversions. I expect the Savage Tide adventure path will be a bit more difficult.

Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Handy -- I always like it when somebody else does all the work Well, I didn't do ALL the work. I decided against making up full NPCs and monsters since campaigns vary widely at the lower power levels. Plus, I'm kind of lazy. I'll be posting a few more of these. I have ideas for a few published adventures from various games that could be made to fit fairly well.
Guest Admiral C
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Unfortunately I'm done with my Valdorian campaign but I like none the less. Repped. Or at least I will when I can again.
Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age The last Conan adventure Mongoose has published, The Book of the Elephant. It's a sequel to the Conan story "The Tower of the Elephant", although the Conan elements can be trimmed out or altered...the part that directly deals with Conan is just window dressing. Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Notes to Valdorianize Death in Freeport. I was going to do the whole trilogy, but now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I have Terror in Freeport. I guess if I don't find it anywhere, I'll skip to Madness in Freeport. EDIT: Doh! I didn't do anything with Milos' sorcery. I'll have to remember to fix this. REEDIT: Okay, just threw a couple of details in on Milos. Nothing too big. Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age I just fixed the notes for Death in Freeport, and am posting this so anyone interested will get the word, and to bump this thread a little. If anyone has any suggestions for changes to be made to any of these adventures, something I've overlooked or something that could have been done better, please chime in. Also, if anyone else wants to post notes of their own, go ahead and do so. For simplicity's sake, keep this thread Valdorian Age, though. If I get around to it, and if someone doesn't beat me to it, I'll create threads for Tuala Morn and Atlantean Age too.
Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Madness in Freeport. Turns out I don't have Terror in Freeport like I thought. It'll just have to wait, I guess.

Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age The Last Resort, also from Tales of Freeport. As an added bonus, I threw in a new Spirit of the Dead, because the mummy in the Bestiary is pretty tough for VA characters.

Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Part one of the Savage Tide Adventure Path, from Paizo's last year of publishing Dragon Magazine. The adventure path gets really weird, extraplanar, and demony about 3/4 of the way through, but it can work pretty well in the Valdorian Age up to that point. Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Part four of the Savage Tide, Here There Be Monsters. Since this takes place in Oceanspast, basically, there's not a lot of replacements to be made. I did throw in a new Demon package, though. Captain Obvious
Re: Adventure conversions for Valdorian Age Finally got around to it...parts six, seven, and eight of the Savage Tide adventure path. I'm not planning on going any further on the Savage Tide, since beyond this point the action moves to the Abyss, and plane-hopping to fight hordes of demons isn't usually associated with S&S. If you want to play an Elric type game, you don't need much in the way of this sort of conversion anyway.
