Korvar
Do the adventures in Champions Battlegrounds fit together as a Campaign? Not necessarily all making a coherant whole, but could one group of characters go through them all without any of them being too jarring in style or content? Cyragnome
Yes...actually from my reading that's the way it's meant to be (a single large adventure with many parts and) with one mastervillian behind it all...AND, the authors also did a darn good job of giving options if you don't want it to be a campaign, or want the adventures linked...so you can have it both ways. All and all a good job
Korvar
So it might be a good thing for someone to run for the next term's University Roleplaying Society intake, without having to create their own campaign?
Steve Long
Because it only has five adventures, I'm not sure whether it would support an entire term or semester's worth of play. It depends on how often you play, and for how long. Each of the five scenarios is probably enough for one game sessions for a "typical" gaming group. If you pick up Shades Of Black as well, you'll have enough material for probably another 3-4 game sessions at least. Since both work well interspersed with other incidents, you could mix-and-match the lineup of the two for probably 8-10 game sessions' worth of Champions fun. Another source of scenarios -- check out Allen's series of "zodiac" articles in DH. Not all are for Champions, but quite of few of 'em are, and that's even less work you the GM would have to do. And by the time you're done with all that, we'll have at least one more scenario book by Allen on the market.
