Guest Admiral C
Re: Catalog of Fantasy RPG Settings Aden- From the World of Aden book published for WEGs Masterbook series and based of several computer games of the same name. Some spin of novels were produced. An early steampunk fantasy world featuring some simple technological tropes such as gunpowder to large and complex creations like the mobile fortress called Thunder Trains. An event called The Darkfall nearly brought the world into ruin bringing hordes of mans fears to life, called the Nocturnals. http://index.rpg.net/display-entry.phtml?mainid=4935 Scarn- From the Scarred Lands setting produced by Sword and Sorcery Studios for D&D 3.0 and some support for 3.5. Featuring a war between the Divine gods and the primal titans that left the land streaked with horrors unknown it shares many elements with dark fantasy. The divine war features prominently with the triumphant gods and defeated yet unkillable titans. The default starting time is encouraged to be with a century of the divine war. Ghelspad, the "starting" continent so to speak. http://index.rpg.net/display-entry.phtml?mainid=8375 Complete Product List http://index.rpg.net/display-search.phtml?key=background&value=Scarred%2BLands&sort=system I just got the World of Aden book at a con, after reading a cheap novel set in it and plan on doing something Hero related with it. Scarn was a favorite when I was running D&D 3.0-3.5, converting it to Hero seemed a daunting task though.
